Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email, optional name, and a hashed password.
• App data: the competitor URLs you add, your notes, and the briefings generated for you.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe — we only store the Stripe customer ID and your current plan. We never see your card number.
• Operational logs: standard request logs, retained 30 days, for debugging and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

We use your data to operate the service: fetch the pages you asked us to watch, generate audio briefings for you, deliver them, and bill you. That's it. We do not sell your data and we do not advertise.

Third parties we share data with

• Anthropic — receives the page content we fetch on your behalf, in order to write your briefing scripts. They do not train on this data.
• Stripe — receives your email and billing details for subscription management.
• Hetzner (Helsinki, Finland) — hosts our servers.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can export your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time from your dashboard. To exercise any of these rights manually, email hello@briefcast.example and we'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use one cookie — your session cookie — to keep you signed in. No tracking, no analytics, no ad pixels.
