Briefcast

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 May 2026.

1. The service

Briefcast is a software-as-a-service product that periodically fetches publicly accessible web pages of companies you specify, generates a short briefing about what changed, and delivers it to you as audio.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. One person per free account.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Briefcast to monitor people (individuals) — only legitimate, public-facing company pages. Don't use it to scrape rate-limited, login-required, or paywalled content. Don't use it to violate any third party's terms of service or applicable law.

4. Subscriptions and refunds

Paid plans renew monthly. You can cancel any time from your dashboard — your plan stays active until the end of the current period and isn't renewed. We don't offer prorated refunds for the current period, but contact us and we'll do the right thing.

5. Content rights

You own the list of competitors you track and the briefings produced for you. We hold a license to process them solely for the purpose of operating the service.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee that briefings are accurate, complete, or timely, and you should not rely on Briefcast as your sole source of competitive intelligence for any important decision.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced via email to active accounts with at least 14 days notice.
